I have seen a lot of questions about whether or not a civilian can buy/possess an LEO/MIL marked weapon or high capacity mag. So, here is the answer from the ATF. Yes, a civilian can legally own and possess an LEO/MIL marked weapon or mag. IF another useless AWB comes into play you will be grandfathered in. while there have been parts of that published around here, that seems to be a complete 'statement' on the subject ---and from the source that counts.
