In an all metal AR that is .

I see that the bushy Carbon's weigh in under 5 lbs , and the cav arms lowers
are about 1 lb lighter then a standard A2 stocked lower  .

Now I don't question the quality or durability of the synthetics , but for an AR
they just don’t appeal to me . So I've been putting together a Lightweight
all metal weapon . 6 lbs 9 oz appears to be as light as I can get with a loaded
20 round mag .  To me it feels featherweight , but I don’t have access to other
lightweight AR's to compare ..

So I figured I'd ask for a little feedback here .
