I am eyeing a Bushmaster XM-15 20" AR rifle at the local shop.  His price is $799 on the shelf so I could probably get him down a few bucks.  Is this a good price.

He also has a DPMS 16" Carbine with a 4 pos collapsible stock.  He has $699 on it.  I can't decide which one to go with.

Are these prices OK?

Thanks in advance.

If new, it's very good. At that price, make sure it's not a "parts" gun built on a Busmaster lower (IE ask for the warranty card). I have seen disreputable dealers try to pass off "parts" rifles built on name brand lower receivers as the N.I.B. real McCoy. Don't assume anything, or take it for granted. If genuine, the Bushy is superior to the DPMS.
