Many of you probably don't know that I have been running Tromix as a side business since 1999, but recently left my day job to run Tromix full time.  I have had a lot of complaints from customer's in the past with me not being here to answer the phone, but that will improve greatly.  I also have some new stuff in the works, including a complete Tromix designed 9mm rifle which I fired for the first time last week.  Both upper and lower receivers were crafted by hand, with only a couple of parts "stolen" from other guns.   With much more time on my hands, you can expect turn times on new builds as well as custom work to be very short.

How about something in 7mm or .30 cal with .308 ballistics and in a standard magazine size? Hmmm...

I'm thinking of going with a whole new platform, firing 30'06 from BAR mags in a compact unit, unlike the huge BAR.  Probably use an RPD style locking bolt to keep the cost down.   With enough time and beer, I can build some wild stuff.

Good news Tony!  I still have a couple of your stripped lowers.  I'm hoping to put at least one suppressed upper on one of them in 300 or 6.8 Whisper. Let me know if you build a run of those.  Dave

i still have yet to get the .458 socom....... even though the urge is there .......

i hope to see more great stuff from you and cool oddball projects......

you need help producing your guns..... or are you hiring?.........i wish.....

curious questions..... how many .458 socom uppers have ben built so far? is the cost of the round going to go down in the future? or is there going to be another .458 socom ammo manufacture than CORBON?

thanks spent

Does the bolt lock back on the 9mm?  I assume the mag is all original as well?  How many rounds will fint in it?

Any plans for something similar in .45 ACP?

Always nice seeing some of the wild shit you build, and now it looks like we'll be seeing more of it!

The prototype 9mm uses UZI mags that have been modified for the Colt
latch.  I really don't care for the look, so I am going to put the notch in the
back like a Beretta Model 12 and use a little flapper release like an HK.
It will look much cleaner that way.  There is currently no bolt hold open
provision on the prototype.

I have built about 30ea .458 SOCOM uppers/guns in the past couple of years.
I believe Marty enjoys most of that market share.  I still sell more 50AE's than
anything else combined.
