I have a LE 6920 with a black bolt and a LE 6920HB with a grey bolt.

I also have a MT6400c with a black bolt and a MT6700 with a grey bolt
What gives?

Are your bolts grey or black?

all of mine are parkerized with a greenish almost black grey color.
