Looking to add flip up frontand rear back up iron sights to my flattop 50 Beowulf upper. 16" barrel length. Main sighting system is an EOTech mounted directly to the flattop, cowitnessing would be nice too.

You're probably better off asking Tatjana in the ammo section about the ballistics of the .50 AE and seeing what BUIS would match up best.

I recommend the ARMS #40. Its the only BUIS with a large apperture that I would use, personally. I know nothing of gas block mounted front flip sights.

I saw a wulf with a Eotech and a Arms 40 and a GGG flip up from sight....Hopes this helps Bigant |

There was an article in one of the geewhiz mags on the Beowulf several months back. I think it had an EOTech on it with the DPMS Mangonel buis. Never used them myself though.

What would the front site mount on? On a FF rail or on a railed gas block?
I would recommend an ARMS #40 for the rear site. The front depends on your setup. |

I have the YHM front and rear. Seem to work fine for me. Both lock into place, no issues with the recoil of the big Beowulf. Don't have an EoTech, but would imagine that they would cowitness just fine. Seem to be standard height.
