hypothetically say kerry gets in as pres and then there is a new evil awb.  is it just a lower you need to have before a ban so you can still be considered "pre-ban" or is it an entire weapon.  i ask this because although my funds are not available for a complete weapon, i could easily do a lower if it would guarantee me being able to use "pre-ban" uppers if there was another evil awb.  or am i way off.

you can buy the lower and it will still be considered a "Pre-ban" if it you build it into a complete rifle with more than 2 evil features before the new ban.

Depends on how they would word any future violations of the 2nd ammendment.  Either way, I'm done with their horseshit and have absolutely no intention of obeying it.

No one knows for sure what the future holds.  If the next ban that comes along was worded like the previous one, having a lower built up as an "AW" and documented somehow would suffice.  However, that is a big "IF" considering that Feinswine and Co. have said, in public, on public record, that the Clinton Ban did nothing because it targeted looks rather than function and that the next one will be much stricter.  Consider this: if they were to go Kali style on the next ban, ie whatever you have you can keep as long as you register it, but no one can buy new ones and you can't pass yours down to your children, all the lowers in the world would do you no good if you have to pay $$$ to register each and every one.  Just some food for thought.

So, keep up the issues and vote those SOCIALIST M'F!@#$%s out of office permanantly, and we won't have to worry about any new ban!

well according to the previous AWB my explaination is what would happen, and if there is another AWB it will probably be identical to the 1994 one execpt with different dates

I hope another AWB doesn't come about. It didn't help anything. Crime didn't decrease or anything...but I guess for anti-gun people it is a step in the right direction. I hope there isn't another ban anytime soon. I only have 1 toy...my mak. I'd like to at least get a pre-ban ar before another one sets in.

No chance in hell it will be anything like the last one. Even fuckstein realized how stupid the last one was and only fought for it because she felt it was better than nothing. If there is another one, expect it to be similar to Kali AWB.

Better yet, let's make sure that asshole Kerry doesn't get elected and that pro-gun candidates take control of the Senete and then we won't have to worry about another AWB

Damn, I just broke my crystal ball.   I saw an AWB in the future but not the details and then I dropped the ball.

Man if I could predict the future I would buy lottery tickets hat
After they did that it would only be a matter of time until they pulled a "pre-86" on us and stopped all new manufacturing for civilian ownership. Prices would increase as supply dwindles and the paperwork back log would be enormous.

Just my look into the crystal ball of doom and gloom. Personally I don't think it will happen but I do believe they would go the NFA route for the next step.
