OK, have fired them but want to build one.  What I want is a 14.5 with a Phantom flashider perm attached, A3 style handle/flat top.

What is the best kits to go with for the money?  I have noticed Model 1, JT, JSE, ASA, RR, etc.  I want a budget type build that will be great.

So far I have built a couple AK's and several FAL's and the AR does not look to bad.

Thanks for any help!

Great, just make sure you get all the right tools and a good book or manual before you start. I like model1, but a lot of folks here tend to question thier quality.

Stay away from ASA, I would be hesitant about Model1Sales also... I am not sure about J&T but RRA is a good choice. If you get a RRA upper from Adco firearms you can have them do the Phantom in house, they do great work, thats who I went through.
