I got a stipped lower  the other day and got a lower parts kit from J & T and am in the process of putting it together and it seems the standard trigger/hammer pin is too small (length wise) for the hammer(the plastic is raised higher around the hammer pin hole). Does someone make a longer pin? Am I doing something wrong(this is my first time putting together a lower)

Just make sure you get it centered and the J-sping in the hammer will click into the groove and hold it in place.  It won't be flush with the edge of the lower because it's thicker there, but it'll have the same contact as it would if the lower were narrower.  Mine came complete from the factory with the same pin but flush to one side so it didn't contact the other side at all.  I pushed it in to the middle and it's worked fine since.  I asked on the CavArms forum here and that's how it's supposed to be.

Sounds like somebody didn't find the letter that is folded up in the buttstock...
