Zanotti gun safes are the ones that arrive in pieces, and you can assemble them inside closets or other places where a normal safe couldn't go. Everything I've read about them suggests that they are expensive, but people seem to be happy with them.

The only place I could finds on the internet that sells them is Silverado Safe in Nevada. I was hoping to find a local dealer at the last gun show but if he was there, he was pretty well hidden from view.

Before I bite the bullet and just pay whatever Silverado asks, can anyone suggest other vendors who might sell this product? Anyone have any experience with them? Thanks.

I got mine from Zanotti direct.  Not cheap, but you're dealing directly with the people who will be making your safe.

I got mine about a year ago and there was a 10 week backlog.

Excellent after-sales service as well.
