Got a couple 20-inch rifles to take out to the range and sight in. thing is, I’m not sure how this is supposed to be done.

If I recall, you sight it in at 25 yards and then it should be good for???

I’m sure I can get tit to shoot where I want, but I want it to be done the right way.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

25 yards is way too close. Given the rather large displacement between sight line and bore line for an AR, if you have the buulet path crossing the sight plane at 25 yards (the bullet will be rising to the line of sight); by the time that bullet gets to 100 yards it is going to be broaching the inosophere.

A 50 yard zero will keep your POI +/- a couple of inches from your POS out to about 250 yards or so.
