if i order a 14.5" upper from bushmaster, can i silver solder the FH in place and not register it as an SBR?

Is the search function broken???

If the FH makes the barrel greater than 16" then yes.... Using silver solder will prevent you from having to register it as an SBR. A regular A2 flash hider will NOT make a 14.5" barrel longer then 16".

P.S. Have bushmaster perm attach it at the factory.

i thought so, just wanted to make sure. does anyone know how long of a wait there would be to order an upper from BM?
