That depends on your meaning of accuracy.  I can hold a 20" group with 20 rounds at 500 meters.

That was with match ammo.  If it isn't you'll have inconsistant chamber pressure and will see highs and lows the further back you go.

5" at 200 meters isn't bad.

Depends on the barrel you are using, what twist rate, length, optics/open sights etc...
With a 20 inch 1 in 9 twist on a Bushy V Match and good optics, 600 yard hits on a man size target are not hard to make.
Stopping power at that distance would be minimal however.
For just punching holes in paper, it would work.
As stated, that's using a 62 grain BTHP match round, so ammo selection is the key.

Sub .25" @ 100 yds.
.7 " @  200 yds
1.8" @ 300 yds   All  w/63gr  Sierra Semi-Point over 24.5 grains of AA-2230

Colt MTC HBar II  16" 1- 9  w/Leupold 4.5-14x40 LR w/Varmint reticle

This is the ONLY bullet that I can get sub MOA accuracy out of with this particular rifle..., but it really loves em'  !!!!
