I just bought one of these.  I can't seem to find any information on it.  Can anyone tell me more about this model?

Century arms made these from worn surplus kits a few years back. The only thing good about them is the receiver was decent.

Have the headspace check and if it shoots and functions properly, use it as a beater gun and be happy with it. Bolts and barrels were the wear items to look for.

I have been out a few times with it.  It has worked great.  This should make a great beater while I build one or I buy a built one as I have little time and much want. anyon with a used oa-98?

century made two runs of AR15s  the first one Centurion 15 should be on Oly lowers and M16 or M16 A1 de-mil parts.  the second one is a little different.  they should all be on M16 a2 de-mil kits.  most of the second run of builds are on CMT lowers with a bunch of DPMS thrown in, and maybe some of the earlier Oly ones marked Centurion 15.  The second run in A2 configuration were marked C15 if made by CMT.  The couple i saw on DPMS receivers were marked DPMS.  I have a C15 (A2 config), it has run flawless for me (except for two bad mags and some crappy Olympic ammo, not the rifles fault).  close to 2000 rds now.  i've shot from 95 degreesand high humidity to -12 and low humidity.  a thermold mag and olympic ammo didn't work at -12.

I've only seen one.  Looked like crap, had rust & dirt in the front sight cavity that prevented the sight from being adjusted (untill it was cleaned out).

But it seemed to run fine - for a shooter it was a deal.

If you look I edited my first post. Also do you know if any of the others were marked as Centurion as the Oly. Were? Thanks. If Centurion was the model marked on the OLY ones can anyone else also mark them as that?
All I did was post a site quote so someone could check their number to the site to help get an answer to their question. No arguement  just some info.
