I emailed Bushmasters about the the new "Izzy F/S"
Heres the whole deal!

Dear Bushmaster, I would like to know if the "Izzy Flash Supressor" coming on the "New Bushmaster M4 Type 16in Carbine with Izzy Flash Suppressor" is a true flash suppressor or a muzzle brake? And if these "Izzy Flash Suppressors" are loud like brakes or more like "Bird Cage" or "Phantom Flash Suppressors" noise levels? Thank You

The Izzy flash suppressor are a suppressor and not a brake. They open up inside for gas expansion like a Bird Cage or Phantom suppressor and would have the same noise levels as the other suppressors.
           Thank you,
           Jim Eden, Tech Support.

I was wondering if they were really just leftover AWB-era brakes or not.  Thanks for clearing that up.
