I like the A-1 because it's shorter.
Anybody know of a good source for a new one, not an old surplus stock?

Try a Cav Arms C1 buttstock. You can find a list of dealers on their web page.

This is pretty much the only option (and it's a good one) - unless you know someone in Diemaco.
