What does it take to make your own brand of AR15 lower similar to an Ameetec or Mega? Are they buying the lowers forged and then having them engraved and finished or are they 80% that they have to drill the holes, engrave and then finish?

If you want to make lowers to SELL, then you first off have to become a Firearms Manufacturer...then you can just contact any of the companies that make AR lowers (like LMT, CMT, etc.) and just have them do your rollmark/logo on a completed lower (you'll have to buy minimums of course)....or you can invest in a CNC machine (4 axis baby! ) and make them yourself out of whatever material you can work on your CNC machine...the latter is definitely more costly.

I am sure they purchase 0% solid forgings in volume and CNC machine them.
