Is it possible to thread the barrell of an Olympic Arms PCR-4 with the ridge on the end of the barrell?

Just wondering as I would like to make my 20" evil too.

Unless you have a lathe, send the upper to Steve at ADCO. He'll hook you up for a fair price.

Yes, I have one of those barrels in my safe and I measured the groove.  The groove OD measures approx. 0.650".  The barrel needs to be turned down to approx. 0.500" for threading.

ETA:  ADCO is the place to send it for fast and professional service.

Sent my Oly upper to ADCO and they said Oly barrels are no problem to tread.  Got my Oly upper back and ADCO did a great job on it.
