I've been hearing about this Recon Rifle concept (match grade rifle capable of field work) for quite some time and I was wondering what the exact specs were. The reason I ask is because that's pretty much the exact same concept I had in mine when I designed my AR. I'm waiting for the upper to come in, but right now I have an Oly T3MX lower and Oly parts kit attached to a SOCOM stock. The upper's an RRA CAR A4 16" SS with mid-length, free-floating handguards. Although I know the perfect sight for this would be an ACOG, I think I'll go with an EOTech for the time being. The only other two things I want to eventually do to my rifle are get a Surefire mounted to my FF tube and put in a better trigger, but those are in due time.
