WARNING !!!!!!!!!!!!   I JUST SPOKE TO CAPT. DUNN--JACKSON POLICE (HAD TO GET MORE PISTOL PERMITS) I ASKED HIM AGAIN ABOUT THE MAG ISSUE. HE STATED THAT HIS CALL TO THE STATE POLICE WAS THE FIRST HE HEARD ABOUT THE BLOCKED ISSUE, BUT IT IS TRUE!!!!  THE LAW NEVER CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL STATUTE, THIS WAS DUE TO SOMEONE IN THE STATE POLICE WHO GAVE OUT WRONG INFO ON THE BLOCKED MAGS YEARS AGO.  AS IT STANDS NOW, "ANYONE IN POSSESSION OF A MAG, BLOCKED OR NOT, ABLE TO HOLD MORE THAN 15 ROUNDS, IS IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW, WHICH IS NOW A FELONY--PERIOD, AND BY THE WAY, IT IS A FELONY FOR EACH MAG !!!!!!!!   :-(

IT'S TIME TO MOVE       JIMBO

+1 for AZ. But it's not that we've got very little gun laws there just old and based on common sense. Of course the down side to living in AZ in that you can only do it missionary style because anything else is against state law.

NEVER NEVER NEVER trust a cop to tell you the correct interpretation of the law.

There are some out there that know what they're talking about (and some of them even post here), but the majority are so misinformed as to be downright scary.

Example:  in MO, if you're over 21, and can legally possess a handgun, you can carry that handgun IN YOUR CAR locked and loaded without a concealed carry permit.  Just can't carry it concealed on you outside of the car.   Every last LEO I've spoken with in the area (state, county, and local) all said that its illegal unless you have a permit.  <BZZZZZZZ>WRONG!

It's not time to move, It's time to fight for your rights.. Just like if it's time to bury your guns, it's time to dig them up..

If we keep moving, we will run out of places to move to.. Stand up, and tell the politicos, politely, to go fuck them selves, this is our Country!!!

!

The pissy part of the whole deal is that the cop is right. There was something out of the AGs office recently that disavowed the previous interpretation that blocking was OK. I saw it on the website a couple of weeks ago when I was downloading a pistol permit application. Can't find it now but it was there.
