Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Parkerizing an AR?

Can someone tell me if this is something that is worth the money to do to my Colt AR? Does it decrease value in anyway since its not factory? Also what is a good price to pay to have the entire rifle done? Thanks in advance.

It's not done cause parkerizing won't stick to aluminum..........

You just need to get your upper and lower reanodized to the almost black color,colt may be able to do it for you.If not there are other places to get it done
