mongo, is what your AR is laying on the pedestals and bench for the Body Pump workout program? :P My hockey team had to do it for workouts, looks exactly the same.

My wife's aerobics step = my gun posing stand.  You'll never see me using this for its intended purpose.

what do you think of the oly FIRSH compared to the Predator?  mango

The Oly FIRSH locking system is pretty good, for what it is.  It tightens the whole rail system onto the barrel nut with the screw you see on the bottom of the rail system, toward the receiver.  Remember, this is only my opinion, but I like my receiver rail clear, so that I can mount a variety of optics, if needed.

The P4 is superior to the Oly, but it covers my receiver rail, so I choose not to use it.

BTW Mongo like mango!!

I've tried nearly all the rail system out there, with the exception of the newest ones and the DD are the way to go, IMO.

I have a carbine length FIRSH.  I like it, for its intended purpose (free float the barrel and VFG), but its kinda heavy.  Its solidly made, at a price in weight, but the price is pretty good for a basic FF railed tube.

It's actually one of the lightest free-floating railed handguard systems on the market.  The FIRSH barrel nut is aluminum so the overall system weight is pretty low.

Here's one with no rail covers on it.  This one is heavy, BTW.
