Another problem for "James Bond Fans" is that Bond's PPK was 7.65mm, NOT .380.

(Just another piece of trivia)

WoW looks like a Libarachi gun show. Oh well I think most gays are liberal democraps anyway. Maybe a few gold plated "ASSAULT WEAPONS" is just what the word needs to win them over.

OK, you're all probably gonna laught at me, but what the hell do I care, it's the internet, and you don't know me!! ;)

I have one of the AHF rifles. My uncle purchased in back in '87 (for like $2300). When he passed after years of heart problems, I inherited his firearms, and the AHF "Vietnam Commemorative M16" was among the collection.

While it doesn't have the snake or anything, from the markings I can tell it's a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle that AHF finished.

It's never been fired and the bolt has never been fully cycled (seal is intact holding the charging handle to the carry handle).

Sure, all it does it sit in the safe and take up room, but it's a "family thing" now.

Does any of these "gold plated" guns ever get used?  Not my cup of tea, I'd rather have a black rifle than these.

That stuff aint even close to pimp.

Have you folks seen JPFO's commemorative Bill of Rights pistol?

Supposedly "only" 100 were made - and they've been advertising it since 2001!  I guess not many of us want that abortion in our collections?

History channel had a show on the other night.  True Warriors.  The one I saw was about the American Embassy in Liberia.  Lots of fuzzy wild camera movement reenactments.  Anyway, their DSS reenactors were armed with:
An M16 with a scope mounted on the front sight and the very front of the carry handle (the objective end was on the front sight, the eye end was on the very front of the carry handle.  Must've been one long eye relief scope    )
And....a MAC 10 !
I thought it was laughable that this guy was running between buildings with a MAC 10 while all the Liberians had AK's and were shooting everywhere. Yup, his MAC 10 is gonna scare em.

Every month one of the gun mags has another one of these firggin POS's advertised in there.  I guess someone is buying them or they would keep making the crap.

BTW.  I think so far the MAC-10 wins

You know what my biggest gripe with these is? That at one point in time, some of these were really nice guns. Then some "artist" decided to take that really nice gun and make it really ugly. Why can't people just leave guns alone? It's not like the M9 or the Hi-Power did anything wrong to deserve such mistreatment.

I think the M-16 I saw at a Florida gun show was even worse.  It was purple with other neon colors splashed on like a paintball gun.  I had to try real hard not to slap the guy who did it.
