Okay, this is a post for humor...... I have an AR pistol, so ......... here I go.

Why I need a bayo lug on my Ar pistol-

... because I need to mount a bayonet on it so I can fend off people trying to grab it while I'm trying to figure out why it's not cycling....

If anyone else has a "humor" type reply for *reasons* to have a bayo lug on an AR pisto, please post....

Another useless post by Kaliburz

So you can spear grapes, slice apples, etc., during commercials while you're waiting to K'POW, K'BLAM badguys when the movie comes back on.

What else am I going to charge the varmintcong with should I run out of ammo?

Spoon attached to Rem 870, fork attached to Glock... seems to be the next logical progression.

Shameless bump......

Oh, I like the one about the spoon and fork......

Personally, just to piss off (on?) Schumer, Feinstein and Kerry!  Than maybe to pick up all of those ammo boxes off the ground when I'm done spraying my eeevil lead hose on fully AUTO since apparently thats what are readily available (according to the gun grabbers)!h.gif

Because you never know when someone will bring a knife to a gunfight?

So you can use what's left of the KBed upper as an improvised spear.

So when your range toy fails to stop an attacker you have a more effective weapon.

Because when you are armed with only the AR pistol, you still need a primary weapon.

Just like in the movies, when you run out of ammo, throw the gun at them, only now, you can do real damage.

Yeah, you can get some nice groups when all you have to do is stick the target with the bayonet and keep on pullin' the trigger.

Come'on folks, you all know the real reason is so you can stick your AR in the ground - immediate rifle stand.

You can only say that when the thread is months old.  I don't think 11 days counts, unless you're in GD.

20 years ago, we went camping for a weekend at a large fun match. When we pulled
into our little improvised camping spot, the first thing my buddy did was grab his
SKS from the Jeep, extend the bayonet & shove into a short stump. I thought it
was quite funny. Those were good times....

So you can strap the bayo sheath to your leg and use it as an ankle holster.

So you can have a long range capability. . . .
