Some folks make a hobby of trying to decipher Colt's numbering system and calculate how many of each model were ever produced.
IMHO, if Colt made ONLY ONE of an SP1 that had dog $hit glued to the reciever (and it came with a "factory letter"), SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE would pay $10k for it.

There is some question as to whether this is a scam over on the general forum. I can't find the post since I can't search that forum, but the consenses was that no one had ever heard of such a rifle, and that it was extreamly overpriced regardless.

The rifle is real.
John M. (Prideboss) sold three 6920HB's on Sept. 12th in the EE, and I got one of them. The price has gone up $450.00 in less than 2 weeks. LOL If only 300 were made, then I guess mine is too damn rare to shoot. argh! Scott |

Yeah, I particularly like the hole in the handguard. Not that I think you'd ever see this on a semi, short of a house fire I mean. I just like that pic. BB, the account I read said it was just entirely too much full auto. Barrel heated to the point of failure. |
