I'm trying to quantify the typical accuracy available from a chrome-lined barrel shooting Federal XM193 ammo. Please post here ONLY if you have actual data from your CHROME-LINED barrel (any length) shooting XM193 ammo (I'll post a similar poll for Q3131).
Accuracy is expressed in inches of extreme spread for a minimum of 3 shots at 100yds off a bench. Please be honest and DO NOT EXCLUDE FLYERS to make your numbers look "more representative". Please add your comments below also. Thanks for sharing your data with me.

depending on optic... you will be within 1-2 inch... depending on your 193 batch

I am running a LMT 16" M4 (free floated and 2 stage trigger) and use the XM193. I am also using an EOTech with a 1MOA center dot. Off a bench it can shoot sub 1 MOA groups all long....

If anyone is getting over 4" either their rifle needs fixing - or more likely the shooters need training.
With stock barrels (no FF), and shooting off the bench with magnified optics, all of my rifles (14.5, 16, 20 Bushy chrome lineds) will shoot sub 2moa groups with M193. Note I have no 'HBARS' barrels are M4, LW, and A2 profile. |

I think my gun is usually about 1-1.5MOA
 With a TA31F, Bushmaster 1:9 20" gov't profile barrel, and XM193 I was getting 75% hits in varying wind conditions there. I don't think I can expect much more out of the rifle/scope/ammo system, or of myself. |

The IMI stuff seems more accurate - close to MOA. I get 1.5-2 MOA with the XM193.

Idaho has a lot of open space to shoot in. That was from a trip earlier this summer, our friend that used to work for MGM targets has steel targets set up all over his property. He can shoot a 1,000 yards from almost any direction from his house...that would definitely spoil having to go to a range for you. ACOG pr0n:  |

I have 20" Armalite Chrome Lined HBAR on my Bushy lower half. With open sights it shoots just under 1" group
 I have a SP1 Upper that shoots a nice 3" group

I can get all of a 30 round mag withing the 9 ring of an 8 inch target with my A2 carbine, my flatop M4 with the Aimpoint, and my HBAR Bushy with the Compact ACOG... That's minute of dead bad guy... I bet my SPR would do better but I only feed it match ammo...
