What is the fix for HG's that rotate a bit. I have a pod mounted on my Armalite and can't keep it from turning side to side because of the sloppy HG fit.

The handguard cap is pinched between the barrel and the front sight base. The gas tube holds, somewhat, the HG cap in position. Also, on the inside of the standard handguards are small tabs that engage the teeth of the barrel nut.

Take off your front sight base and cut a shim out of 4 thousands shim stock to go between the handguard cap and the front sight base.  It worked on mine.

the easiest thing is to peen the handguard cap, bending the edges in,  to make the handguards fit tighter.
