Since the ban is history, is the law restricting  forward grips, guards, etc. on ar-style pistols nul and void? There is a Oly pistol with a K-grip up for auction at a site and  the folks on another board are throwing a fit over saying that is the AOW law is still in effect and someones going to club fed.

The AWB had nothing to do with NFA regulations such as SBR, machine guns, DD, and AOW.  Also, the import rules are still in full affect.

how about just a handguard? No forward grip.

I think a handguard only is ok now.
