Yes, I've purchased 2 in the past month.  The go together great w/ GI parts.  I can't tell any difference in them and my BM lower, and since  a DS w/ parts costs the same as a stripped BM lower, why not go with it.  They're not PURPLE either.  So yes, I like them, and I would recommend them...oh yeah, they're part of J&T Dist. if I'm not mistaken.

I purchased a couple of their stripped lowers a few weeks ago, and they're beautiful.  I assembled J&T lower parts kits and A2 stocks on them, and everything fit perfectly.  I didn't even have to clean out any burrs or anything .

And Doublestar/J&T Distributing has great customer service too.

You'll be happy with what you get from them and how you get it...

Do not own a Doublestar lower, but do own two J&T kits.  Doublestar is a sister company to J&T, and are complete rifles built from the same parts J&T sells.  My two J&T kits are excellent and shoot reliaby, as realiably as any other AR-15 I have ever owned.  In fact, between the two of them, they have NEVER had a failure to fire for any reason.
