Oh man.  I've got BRD really bad!  What started out six months ago seemed harmless.  I moved to a free state and purchased Colt MT 16"  Then it was a stripped lower.  You can't just have a lower laying around, so I went to the gun dealer to get a lower parts kit.  While I was there, he showed me lots of cool uppers and stuff.  I buy an upper and the rest of the guts to build a complete rifle.  I told myself,  that's it!  I'm not going to get carried away here.
A month later I'm back at the dealers door step.  I figure one more lower isn't going to hurt.  I ask for a RRA lower.  The dealer says he's out, but take a look at this really cool Bushmaster Varminter.  I think to myself, I've always wanted one of those, okay I'll take it.  You know, You can't just get a Varminter.  Now you have to go out and get a new scope.  Okay.  That's it!  No more!
A couple more weeks pass.  I wonder if what's so special about Busmaster lowers?  Off to the gun dealer I go.  This time I'm lucky.  He's got one in stock.  I close my eyes the entire time I'm in the store so as not to be tempted.  I fill out the paperwork and off I go.
You know it's just not right to have a stripped lower just laying around the house.  I wonder if Busmasters parts kits are any different from the generics.  Hello Bushmaster?  Send me a parts kit.
What good are these guns with out magazines?  It's got to be a 30 rounder.  Everybody uses 30's.  Off to the gun dealer.  Get two.  Read on AR15.com how everybodies got lots of magazines.  Not just two.  Go onto EE and order 5 more.
A little more time passes and the AWB ends.  I'm at the gun dealer the day after the ban ends, I don't know why I'm there, but I'm there, and I see a Bushmaster 16" LE on the rack.  Hey! Now that would be nice to have.  The dealer raps it up and I'm out the door.
That night I'm on ARF.com and I read that Bushmanster has 30 rounders for $20.  That's not a bad price.  I better get some before they're gone.  Hello Busmaster?  Send me five.
This is so wrong.  I can't afford to do this.  My creditcard companies love me, but I know I've got to stop.  I need help bad.
Wait.  Before I stop, I still need optics.

Welcome, to reality...

Why, oh Why didn't I take the blue pill?

A few ways to cure the disease..

1. Quit your job.
2. Move to California
3. Get married.
4. Shoot yourself in the foot.(note: This is better than #3)
5. Commit yourself to a mental institute.
6. Vote Democrat.
7. Quit hanging out here.
8. Take up quilting.
9. Work only 2 days a week.
10. Join the Army(they will give them to you)
11. Donate all that money to John Kerry.
12. Join the Peace Corps.

It's a 12 step program..

Hello
My name is Krazny13, and I am a black rifle addict.

It has been 3 days since I last bought anything for my AR.

It first started at the age of 17 with a A2 DCM service rifle I build myself.  I bought it mostly here on the EE and assembled it with the guidance of fellow ARFCOMMERs.  I told myself 'Haha, those guys have no will power' and 'how can you be addicted to AR's?'.  But slowly I found myself stockpiling mags and other accessories I didnt need.  Then, this spring I opened my safe and found the first of many stripped lowers.  I just couldn't stop. Last week I finished AR #2, a RRA/CMMG M4gery.  I have had it for 8 days and I am already planning AR #3.  And I am probably going to be buying a Case, sling, and mags tonight. . .

This is a terrible disease for a college student to have.  Please help me find a cure by making a donation to the Krazny13 Ammunition/AR parts, er Tuition Fund.

Thank you and good night.

Krazny13.

Yes.... yes... it all sounds so familiar. Prior to moving to Az.... I was one of those poor unfortunate souls who lived under the tyranny of  Commie-fornia. I knew even before I moved... the sickness had taken hold of me.... I would browse the forums borads here late at night... drooling over incredibly sexy gun porn... longing for the day that I was free to indulge in my sickness.

When I finally moved to Az... it was like a beast had been uncaged. Free at last to spend my college loans on that deliciously evil "no ban" rifle I always wanted.

HELP ME... HELP ME STOP. By the end of my current build... I won't be able to afford my tuition. The agonny of it all.

I know I know. But I must find the strength. Maybe I could move back to my cage in Commie-fornia... that might shackle the beast once again.

I started with a Bushmaster M4A3 flat-top..flat-tor cried for optics...enter Trijicon ReflexII

Then I saw the Bushmaster Modular Carbine...needed an optic...enter EOTech 552

Then I wanted a really evil rifle...LEO Bushmaster Patrolman Carbine...optics... Aimpoint ML2

Now I have teo lowers waiting for Form 1s to clear...a 10.5" (Tripower optic) and  14.5" (Plain Jane.)

Also have an a4gery complete and waaiting for A TA-31

Did I mention that I have had BRD for exactly one year?  4 complete rifles two in the wings and more optics tnan rifles.  I don't want a cure, but if someone has something that'll slow it down, my wallet needs help.
