What is that little spring behind the collapsible stocks retaining plate?
Why do the new collapsible stocks come with two springs?
Anyone know where I can get a new castle nut and retaining plate?

The little spring is the takedown pin detent spring.

To keep your rear takedown pin from being able to slide all the way out.
