Witch latch?   PRI Big Latch or the Badger Ordnance Tac Latch?

I picked up The PRI big Latch through SMGLEE a board member
here is his website

Go with the PRI Big Latch...I switched from the Badger and it was definitely for the better.

I like PRI's "little round latch".  It has an uncanningly "good" feel to it, without losing the symmetry of the charging handle pull that the design requires.

I like the way the Badger looks but now will definitly look into PRI from my dealer.

i had a badger latch and during a course it seemed to keep getting tangled with my 3 pt sling, nothing serious just a momentary distraction that i didn't need..so i ditched both and am now using a single pt. sling with the PRI.

The PRI is definately the better of the two, just big enough to be able to easily hit and not accidently unlatch which would occasionally happen with the Badger.  With the badger i was always worried about mounting my gun and taking a CH in the mouth or bending the CH in a real fight.

The badger is nice for a benchrest gun though as it easily clears any scope mount, although some say that the assymetric pull you get with it will eventually wear out the notch for the catch in your upper.

I have one that my brother gave me. It works OK. Easier to charge with my off hand now.

+1 for the PRI Big Latch I have one on a Gas Buster charging handle and one on a regluar charging handle they work well with single point slings without getting hung up.

I have been satisfied with my Badger Ordnance, but I suspect that I would like the lower profile of the PRI better.

Just got a PRI latch and charging handle....love it!!  Very easy to operate and less nasty wolf ammo smoke in the face!
