With the Sunset, is the 50 oz or less ruling gone. Does this mean I can build a AR Pistol. Can you guys recommend a good source for a Parts Kit for my stripped lower?

Yes you can.

model1sales.com sells kits that are priced good, just no chrome bore. I have a friend that built one, and it was good quality. (if a bit heavy - their pistol barrels are heavy profile barrels for 5.56mm).


Just remember, your lower must have originally shipped as a stripped lower, you cant have a forward vertical grip (or it is an AOW -NFA Item) and you can't use a buffer tube a rifle stock could easily slip over and attach to. (the kits come with a special pistol buffer tube.)
