Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need a looong flash hider. Suggestions?

I'm looking at cutting back a barrel and silver soldering a flash hider to get to 16".  The flash hider will need to add 2.75"-3" to the barrel.  Can anyone recommend a 223 based flash hider that would work?  It doesn't have to be AR15 specific, as I can have threads cut to match the hider.

I am aware of the CAR-15 styles, but would like something a bit more exotic to try.  Maybe an HK53 or G36?
