Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tightening upper and lower

My Ar has noticable play between the upper and lower. I know it the lug on the upper that has enlarged. I was thinking of drilling the bottom of the lug and then installing a set screw so i can tighten the fit.  good idea?

Go to Ace hardware a buy a an O ring to fit around the front pivot lug. That will tighten it up.
