I know this is the wrong side, so pretend it is the left side, where I will mount the sling.

What I have in mind, is an across the chest sling, with a quick detach option that either releases the sling, or opens it up larger for shooting.

I wouldn't mind a single point sling mounted to the endplate at #4.

Or a two point sling, attached at the front and back.  I can attach a swivel on any of the four rails at the front using a threaded hole, or I can attach to the rail directly.

I think I would like to attach to the rear at #4 and the front a #2. and carry accross my chest.
I plan to use this in a carbine class, so I want to get a good sling.

I will be adding an Aimpoint soon, if that matters. Probably not.

Any wisdom from those who have been there/done that would be appreciated.
