I need some reccomendations for a rifle carry case. What's different is I'd like to transport a 20" with telestock and an m4gery both in one case. Pouches for accessories would be nice, but not required. I can carry that stuff in anouther bag.

Starlight Cases

A bunch of us were able to capitalize on Sams Club prices which were much cheaper then retail prices, don't know if there are any still available through them though as this was the "deal to be had" months ago. Regardless, it's a very nice case...

Most cases advertised to hold 2 scoped rifles will not be large enough to hold 2 pistol gripped rifles.  Watch out.

I know the el-cheapo Plano 2-rifles cases aren't big enough, and I would reccommend an Aluminum case.

The Starlight cases are great if you want a hard case, they are everything a hard case should be.  If you can't find them at Sams, Bowers Tactical is selling them in the E.E.  If you want something a little lighter I like these.

Padded Weapon Case

damn, here I was just trying to offer advice to someone else for spending money and I get suckered in to spending. I do need a soft case for 2 though. Do you have this one in stock:

61PW00BK 38" Padded weapons case, padded divider with room for 2 long guns, 1 padded zippered pouch and 1 hook and loop closure pouch on the outside. Comes with shoulder strap.

Those Plano's are pure junk. We were issued those for use during my last trip to Iraq. The locks were a joke and you're right, they aren't big enough for 2. Atleast they didn't appear to be, never tried to stuff 2 in there though to confirm.

thanx for the info, I'll more then likely take you up on one of those soft cases. And yes, the Starlights easily hold 2 scoped 24's plus tons of room for the extra's (i.e. range finder, binocs, dewey rod and so forth) But they're a little cumbersome to take back and forth to the range.
