How high does an ARMS #40 L backup rear sight sit above the rail when it is folded down?

What about a standard ARMS #40?

I am wondering this also.  Are there any other differences between the #40 and #40L . I want to put one on an LMT upper and still be able to mount an aimpoint or an ACOG.

#40L is roughly 3/4" above the < ><-------- of the rail
#40L is low profile and will default to the small aperature

I have a 40L and if you do not like the fact that it defaults to the small aperature, the small one can be easily removed. I have no need for the small aperature, so it went bye-bye.......
