Howdy, folks!

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot, or if you've already seen it, but we always need as much help as we can get. Right now, Greta VanSusteren is conducting a poll on the expiration of the AWB. Right now, the majority is in our favor. Poll is at the bottom right of the page. Please vote!

I like her phrasing. It is past tense - Should Congress HAVE extended the ban on assault weapons? not present tense - Should Congress extended the ban on assault weapons? That ONE little word makes a big difference. Looks like the realization has set in that the ban is no more

9:43 central time and the results are 97,400 votes. 38% yes, 53% NO, 9% sheeple who can't make up their minds. Were is that mythical 65% who wanted it re-authorized? Guess CNN & the Brady bunch can't do simple math either.

Newbie... eh... almost... The AWB expires on Monday, September 13th at 12:00:01AM EDT...

I had the same problem. Looks like they've pulled the poll or moved it for some reason. I imagine they have to end the voting at some point in order to tabulate the results and publish them with a story.

Guys, their polls only last about a day, and then they replace it with a new one, except on the weekends.

No conspiracy. The poll itself is for show prep, which probably aired last night.

There is a link to check past polls on the poll location. If you click there it will open up the past polls for you to check. BUT, that runs a couple of days behind. The last day on there today is Tuesday. Looks like we can check back next week to find out how bad we kicked ass.

I wouldn't be surprised if the results never show up.
FOX News just aired several reports that seemed to lean in favor of the AW ban.
They continued to report that 2/3 of the country and ALL LEOs support the ban. For a minute I
thought I was watching CNN !!
Fox just concluded in an on air discussion group that a semi auto could empty a 30rd clip in 5 seconds which is almost as fast as a full auto and should be banned as such. They also showed the poster saying terrorists can't wait for 9-14
