When you buy membership at the online store, how long does it take before you are activated?  Should I get an IM, e-mail or what?

Mine took a day.  But it depends on how busy GB is.

Yea, join.  They'll shoot you an e-mail and activate in like a day.  That's what mine took, also.  Some guys have thousands of post and don't fell the need to join.  I don't think that's cool, casue thirty bucks ain't that much for a year to support something that you enjoy, plus AR15.com fights the good fight by being a good outlet for pro-gun info.

Done!  Did it last night, been meaning to for a while.  Since the accident I had in April, I have alot of time on my hands and remembered that I needed to contribute.

Join, it helps. Sometimes it happens quick, sometimes it takes a little. It will be a worthwhile thing to do either way!

Mine took about a week when I did it, but it was a busy time for 'em here, so I wasn't upset.  It takes some time, but it's worth supporting this site.

Im surprized there are not more looking at some of the post counts.  Some of the non Team member post counts are off the charts.

RED_5 is correct. I asked the same question via email to the staff and Ed Sr advised that membership updates are done on the weekends.
