One possibility is improper assembly. The barrel pin may not be correctly indexed in the slot in the upper receiver.
Go to the Troubleshooting Forum and read the FAQ's. You'll find an explanation there. |

Barrel may ned to be re-indexed. Contact manufacturer.

Front sight isn't set up correctly?

The front sight post/barrel are usually considered one piece. The problem of indexing is usually because of improperly torqued barrels causing the barrel pin to be off. When this problem was happeneing to Bushmaster, they ewre saying that anything less than 13 clicks was acceptable, anything more should be sent back to be retorqued. |
