What is the physical difference between a pre and post lower?  Does one have and features or advantages over the other?

With most vendors, the only difference would be the serial number.

Now, if you are discussing Colt lowers, you'll find at least 4 different varieties in the pre & post ban world. Of course, they are all "pre" in another 4 days.

Thanks. A local dealer has post-ban RRA complete lowers in stock and I was thinking of picking up a pre-ban upper after the awb sunsets unless I can find a good deal on a complete A2.
