If you have other AR-15's, the ATF would consider you to be in possession of a SBR. There's a letter or two from them floating out there but I don't have a link, sorry. You're safer having it sent to your shop, but check with them first. Some vendors will do this for you, too, I believe. (Bravo Company did a run of LMT 14.5" uppers with a perm. f/h, iirc.)

Yes, I have other ARs... so this was definitely a concern of mine. I also have a C&R which makes me double, triple and quadruple check to make sure I'm in compliance.
