Does anyone have a picture of a 20" AR with a collapsible stock attached? I was wondering what it would look like since I may buy one post-ban (hehe, that word has a new meaning).

kevinb has one but I don't know where to tell you to see it.  Plus I think he's deployed or something because I haven't seen him post in awhile.  But I don't go in every topic here.  Try the uppers and lowers section.

I think the Magpul M93A would be a good choice to put on a 20" barreled AR.

It's weight would help balance out the weapon and the cheek-weld of the M93A is vastly superior to a standard issue M4-type collapsible stock.

The Vltor's cheek-weld looks superior also, but I still think the extra weight of the M93A will balance out the longer barrel and make the rifle handle more naturally.

Just my $0.02...

But it looks like the guys in the above picture like the Vltor. Whatever they choose, I'm VERY thankful for their service and appreciate their sacrifice.

I tried it on one of mine. Didn't like it and took it off.
This is now being issued to Canadian forces as manufactured by Diemaco.

The only reason I can think of the have a 20" barrel and callapsable stock type of set up is for wearing body armor or chemical/biological suits.

I am looking at  the June copy of Crane NSWC Warfighter Solutions. On page there i a pic of  two operators shooting a M4 SOPMOD with Eotech and and a SPR fitted with what I believe is a Crane LMT stock.  There faces are blacked out and that partially obscures the stocks.  Even with the suppressor attached it looks prety sweet. I am trying to get my scanner working so I can post the picture.

Sparsky,

You do know that doing that to an SP1 is blasphemy right?

You're on the fast track to hell.

LOL... It was the only Preban Lower I had and I wasn't going to take the time to swap Stocks for a Pic. I'll be putting A2 handguards on it w/A3 upper and putting it on one of my Posty Lowers after the ban.

This is my HBAR Upper on my SP-1 lower from my CAR-15. It takes some getting used to, but it works for me until I get another lower with a full stock. I had to grind down the front tip of the cheek piece so it wouldn't hit the back of the charging handle.
