What is the differences between the m4 and 16" car complete uppers? I plan on sellin my ak and movin back to the AR side. I have a good genral knowalge about these things but the only differece I could see was the barrels and price? And am i better of to get a .223 or 5.56 upper? What am i most likly to find much of at gun shops?

barrel contour and M4 feed ramps (feed ramps only apply on true M4 uppers, Colt or LMT)

M4 contour has that distinctive step down portion in front of the front sight base to facilitate M203 mounting.
