Hey fellas, so after the ban, will the lowers be marked AR-15 rather than XM-15 or LAR or PCR ETC ETC. . . If so, How long do you think it would take for them to come out Should I wait to buy my lowers then or now

Thanks

Colt owns the AR-15 name

I don't know, but I wonder if there are any trademark issues with using ar-15 on anything but a colt product?

I have no idea?

They shoot better if they say "AR-15" on the side.  Everyone knows that!

My Armalite/Eagle Arms lower says M15.  Go figure.

I wrote mine on with crayon, it made all the difference.

Cause even before the ban, Armalite didn't own the AR-15 name.  The original armalite (part of Fairchild Aircraft) sold it to Colt.

Crayons are for posers.  Real armchair operators use a Sharpie .

Scratched mine on with  a big sewing needle. Wanted it permanent

And no, I don't think you'll see "AR15" om any new ARs. First, Colt owns the name so no one else can use it . Second, even Colt won't go back to it because there are some places where it's illegal to own a rifle marked "AR15"

And third, except for a couple of high steppers in Florida, I don't think most folks give a flip one way or the other-------but maybe I'm wrong about that
