What are  some of your opinions on which is better?

Best value would be the Aimpoint in my opinion - already well-tested, cheaper and with a 10,000hr battery life you don't really need to worry about tritium or cyalume sticks.

I like the Tripower reticle; but it is more expensive, has muzzle-side signature issues, hasn't seen anywhere near the same-level of testing and use the Aimpoint has, and it still has that blue tint to the lens.

If you dont plan on using nightvision get the ML2, it will save you a few bucks
