My old Colt Match H-BAR had that pin there. It definately wasn't select fire.

I believe that is the pins that hold the sear block in place. There were several variations of pinning the sear blocks in place on the Colt's and this appears to be one of them. My own example of Sporter Target has only one pin, coming in from the right side and it is comparable in size. It is also offset to the fron of the center of the selector/safety.
I'm pretty sure the autosear pin is smaller and is more centered over the safety/selector. This one is offset from the center of the safety/selector.  Lonny |

Yes I noticed also it was not 'centered' above the selector as a true FA sear pin would be. More than likely is a sear block pin as stated above. Noone would be stupid enough to try to sell a select fire MG on a public auction site as a non FFA weapon. |

the shiney finish does make that look fake, but even if it werent, I do believe that the sear blocks Colt put in looked just like the auto sear from the outside.

Actually, the sear block pins are quite a bit larger than the auto sear pin----just like the one in the picture  . This is just an early sear block model Colt AR..Keep moving. nothing to see here

Nope, that one actually looks like a real Colt, despite the shiny finish. There are a few distinquishable features on the replica guns you were referring to that wasn't on this gun. |

xcpd69 hit it right on the head. Those are the side pins to hold the sear block in. Mine only had one on the right side but I've heard of receivers that have up to three and on different sides. Yay colt. |
