I am in process of building an SPR-like AR.  This will require an 18" barrel.

Does anyone have any contact info for Benjamin (match barrels) out here in WA or the Pac NW?  I have now heard about them from 2 different sources as being awesome but noone has contact info.

BTW - Edited out my first question, as it was just plain stupid.  A stupid question is one you already know the answer for, but go on and run out and waste people's time with anyway because you are too lazy to think through what you are asking.  Thanks to everybody who set me straight.

since i'm guessing you're not putting a m203 on it, why not go with fluting all the way down?

Good point.  Never thought that far through.  Chalk up another stupid thing this forum has kept me from wasting my money trying!

Ok, kill the barrel profile/fluting question.  It's moot.

Fluting will increase cooling and make the barrel lighter. It will not make the barel more rigid that it was in it's original configuration.
