We all have some sort of piece or part that we wish they made for the AR series of rifles that they don't. Mine is a set of high QR 1" rings that aren't just 30mm with a 1" insert.
I'd also like to see a way to make the Cavarms take a single point sling that wasn't a wrap around strap. |

A Zeiss/Swarovski/Leupold quality short eye relief scope designed from the ground up for the A2 carry handle... |
+ a billion! |
LMAO I was expecting Lumpy as the poster for that... $25 Trijicon to go in front of that would be even better. |
15"chrome lined carbine barrels so a birdcage can be permanently attached to maintain the proper look.
that reminds me 18" lightweight midlength in either 1:9 or 1:7. Hell, let's compromise, let's call it 1:8 so we can have the 1:8 18". |

An ACOG. TA-31 to be exact, that zooms from 0 to 4 X. That would make life complete... Yep Yep Yep

Title II recievers made after 1986, that us unwashed "civilians" can own.
some sort of device that automatically zero's your rifle perfectly for you :-)
Love shooting, hate zeroing. |
... Zeroing is fine, I hate break-in periods |

Fixed it for ya'. LOL You have to have at least "1" power, that's normal eye sight. I'd like to see a dot sight that has variable power. 1-6x would be nice. Also, I'd like the dot to adjust too so it'd stay a constant size thru the power levels. In other words if you have a 4moa dot(4" at 100 yrds.) and you're at 1x you'd cover 4", at 4x the dot would still only cover 4" at a 100 yrds. |

A factory production upper with both a fixed A2 rear sight, and instead of a carry handle, a flat top rail from the front of the sight forward.
May this is some good allergy medication! I may give up beer for this stuff! |
TNFrank,
Wow, hadn't seen those. But I had been thinking more along the lines of a standard height rail. I saw one similar to what I'm talking about once, but it was a frankenstein custom job. |

A production lower that accepts unmodified Grease Gun mags and works with the Olympic .45ACP uppers...

A group of people with the time, talent and inclination to archive high-res images of the various components out there. Then take them and render them in 3D a la Maya or other image program.
Then build a website anyone could visit that would allow you to mix-n-match components and view the results. It would also have ballistics and ordering information right there. So if you built a rifle and really, really loved it you could click "Buy Now" and your contributing advertisers would get their respective orders via an escrow service or individually, depending on your relationship with them. I figured if I was going to dream it I might as well find a way to pay for it, too. |
As long as we're dreaming make it use standard Thompson mags(that way it'll interchange with my 27a1) and we'd be in buisness. |
early 80s prices on all new manufactured pieces and a magical mag that nevers fires empty.
sa80 mags are as good as they get. |

AMEN! |

Get an Lewish Machine & Tool rear sight. It looks like a great sight, but at the moment, I'm using an ARMS #40. I am sure there are some for sale by dealers in the equipment exchange, but here you go: www.lewismachine.biz/ |
+1 I can do 3d models if anyone can program.. |
I think ADCO's "Build Your M4 Upper!" web page is about as close as we can get right now. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet. Very cool. Personally, I'd like to see a low cost ACOG too. Civies like quality optics too, but we don't need something that can take being run over by a Humvee. Well, most of us anyway... |

Link just takes me to the EE, am I missing something? |

You'll shoot your eye out! |

A bullpup lefty version like the Aug, but at the same price as an AR.
A SAW-ish styled carry handle that would attach to a rail. Folding of course!
Arc |

I'd like to see an Aimpoint with the EOTech reticle. I actually spoke to Aimpoint about it and they have no plans to do this. Too bad. It would have killed all the crazy Aimpoint vs. EOTech threads, IMHO.

Better yet, multiple selectable reticles. Lonny |
They get so expensive you should be able to get a set of wheels for them to ride them to work????

A one piece scope mount that places the scope 1/4 " lower and 1" farther forward than Armalites one piece mount.
